11) The HCFF nominations for “Best Animated Comedy Film”

The HCFF is one of the few festivals that offers such a specialized category. Surprisingly, we got several submissions, and the films that we nominated are really outstanding. Congratulations to these filmmakers, who probably spend more time rendering, than they do with their friends.

12) The HCFF nominations for "Funniest Music Video"

The HCFF is one of the first festivals to ever offer a "Funny Music Video" category. We had an interesting selection of Videos to choose from. Congratulations to those filmmakers who stepped out of the box to make the following:

There are few outlets for local stand-up comedians to get in front of a national audience. We experimented with this category, to give stand-up comedians that chance.  Each of these comedians are talented, and could turn out to be the next great comedian.
